Indie game developer Edmund McMillen has announced that his upcoming turn-based cat-breeding RPG, Mewgenics, will launch on PC on February 10. The game, which was first announced in 2012, experienced a prolonged development cycle partly due to McMillen working on other projects like Super Meat Boy Forever. McMillen, known for creating The Binding of Isaac, revealed during a Reddit AMA that he already has DLC ideas for Mewgenics and has logged over 300 hours across two save files without completing the game on both. Console versions are planned but likely won't arrive until later in 2026 at the earliest.
