Mike Booth the creator of Left 4 Dead has partnered with producer JJ Abrams to develop 4:LOOP a new four-player co-op shooter with roguelike elements. The game is the first project entirely developed by Bad Robot Games the game studio of film production company Bad Robot. 4:LOOP combines the cooperative action gameplay of Left 4 Dead with time loop mechanics that allow players to improve their equipment between missions. The game features teams fighting against aliens and robots with the ultimate goal of destroying an alien mothership. Sony Interactive Entertainment will publish the game which will be available on PS5 and PC when it launches.
