Manhar Bansal a student from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) has been selected as one of six Rhodes Scholars-Elect from India for 2026. This prestigious scholarship will enable Bansal to pursue literature studies at the University of Oxford beginning in 2026. The Rhodes Scholarship is among the oldest and most recognized international award programs for students to study at the University of Oxford. Selection for this scholarship is based on outstanding scholarly achievements as well as character commitment to others and leadership potential. NLSIU has maintained a strong record of producing Rhodes Scholars over the years with Bansal continuing this tradition of excellence.
