Exodus Game Delay
The highly anticipated game Exodus has been delayed from its original 2026 release window to early 2027. The delay was announced at The Game Awards where a fresh trailer was also revealed showcasing more of the game's content and story. The trailer offers backstory on main character Jun Aslan who is the only human capable of using technology developed by Celestials humans that have evolved 40000 years into the future. The trailer also introduces the character C.C. Orlev voiced by Matthew McConaughey. Developer Archetype Entertainment includes notable talent from BioWare 343 Industries and Naughty Dog with the game's character- and choice-driven science fiction story showing strong BioWare influences. Despite the delay the substantial new trailer provides more insight into what players can expect from the final product.
